Lesson #1: Health Issues Are Created by the Mind
According to Uma, ninety-five percent of our health issues are psychosomatic, meaning it’s an effect from our mind and emotions. Emotions are so strong that it can have an effect on our body. A lot of things that we do in life can be the cause of stress and anxiety, especially when we get worried. For Uma it’s all an illusion or self-created health issues, our mind and emotions can become our strength if we change our mindset or a weakness that will make us ill.
Lesson #2: Joy Is Within You
Sometimes joy is very hard to find. Some people seek it in material things; houses, money, luxury cars, and sometimes, others try to find it in other people. Uma experienced this first-hand, but ended up feeling empty until he realized that joy was within him. When you are able to find the joy within, it will give you a wider and greater perspective in life. Practice seeking joy in yourself instead of in other material things, and see how it transforms your life.

The key to facing life’s uncertainty is to embrace what is happening in the moment. It’s important to understand that this is part of the learning process in everything that you do. In fact, it’s the best place to make mistakes because it will make you wiser and stronger. This is where growth happens in an individual, and this is what makes life so exciting. When you start walking into the unknown, you discover new layers of yourself and the life you live.
