In a world filled with uncertainty and challenges, many seek a foundation of hope and strength to navigate life’s obstacles. The Anchoring Hope podcast, hosted by David Mansilla, serves as a beacon for business leaders, entrepreneurs, and individuals committed to making the world a better place—through faith in Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. In a recent episode, David sat down with Abdoulaye Djire to discuss faith, perseverance, and God’s transformative power in their lives.

Faith in Entrepreneurship: A Divine Calling

Abdoulaye Djire, an entrepreneur from Atlanta, Georgia, shared his journey of building his startup, Find—a platform that helps people discover unique places and connect with local communities. While the entrepreneurial path is filled with challenges, Djire attributes his perseverance to his faith. He recounted moments of doubt when he felt like giving up, but God’s guidance kept him moving forward.

“The biggest thing is that whenever I wanted to quit, God said, ‘Keep pushing,’” Djire explained. His testimony serves as a reminder that faith plays a vital role in sustaining vision and determination, especially in business.

A Journey Back to Christ

David Mansilla’s testimony reveals the struggles of drifting away from faith. Raised in a Catholic household, he later experienced a period of spiritual detachment while focusing on worldly pursuits. It wasn’t until 2022 that he returned wholeheartedly to Christ. “If I had died during those 20 years away from God, I believe I would have gone to hell,” he confessed, emphasizing the importance of actively nurturing one’s relationship with Christ.

Mansilla warned against the misconception that once saved, one can live however they please. “Scripture says those who endure until the end will be saved,” he noted, urging listeners to remain steadfast in their faith.

God’s Transformative Power

Djire’s path to Christianity was unconventional. Born to a culturally Muslim family from Mali, he was surrounded by various faiths but never felt compelled to question his beliefs—until friends persistently prayed for him. Eventually, a stranger approached him, sharing the Gospel and leading him in a prayer of salvation. That night, he experienced a powerful dream of deliverance, a moment that confirmed God’s presence in his life.

“I woke up feeling light, at peace,” Djire recalled. From that day forward, he pursued a deeper understanding of Scripture and dedicated his life to Christ.

Breaking Free from the Chains of Sin

The discussion touched on the reality of spiritual warfare and the dangers of complacency. Mansilla shared his deliverance experience, revealing how demonic influences can subtly infiltrate lives through addiction, pride, and worldly distractions. “You don’t realize what you’re doing when you feed the desires of your flesh,” he cautioned.

The key to true freedom? A complete surrender to Christ. “Nothing—no amount of money, alcohol, or relationships—can fill the void that only Jesus can,” Djire affirmed.

An Invitation to Christ

The podcast concluded with a heartfelt invitation for listeners to give their lives to Jesus. Djire led a powerful prayer, urging those feeling lost or disconnected to turn to Christ and experience His transformative love.

“If you truly pour out your heart to the Lord and ask Him to reveal Himself, He will,” Djire assured.

For those who made the decision to follow Christ, the podcast team encouraged them to reach out, seek fellowship, and grow in their faith.

Final Thoughts

The conversation between Mansilla and Djire is a testament to God’s relentless pursuit of His children. Whether facing business challenges, spiritual doubts, or personal struggles, anchoring hope in Jesus is the ultimate source of strength and purpose.
